Methods+Mastery has an immediate opening for a talented graphic designer with strong branding experience. This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid set-up with work from home and work from office flexibility. The ideal candidate for this role will feel confident leading and executing branding design, brand collateral development and a variety of other related design deliverables. Responsibilities

  • Design a variety of outstanding creative deliverables for a variety of tech brands. Creative deliverables include: logo development, branding collateral, layout design, merchandise, website design, digital/social advertising layouts, print materials
  • Work collaboratively to concept and produce creative design solutions for clients in line with developed insights and strategies
  • Present and articulate rationale for concepts, design direction and in progress creative to clients and apply feedback to deliverables
  • Participate in and support facilitation of creative brainstorm sessions to conceptualize creative and branding approaches against client briefs 
  • Develop original concepts and design concepts for multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Contribute to team culture and DE&I initiatives

Qualifications

  • Required: Portfolio review (examples to demonstrate knowledge on branding and brand design with the ability to explain decisions that led to final product)
  • Insatiable appetite to learn, grow, work hard, have fun, be entrepreneurial, curious and inventive  
  • 3-6 years of experience doing awesome design work, preferably for a design agency or branding agency
  • An interest and understanding for branding and logo design is critical. A passion for layout design, merch design, and understanding UX/UI is a big plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design or equivalent work experience/portfolio school
  • Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects at any given time
  • Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Google Slides/PowerPoint
  • Understanding of Figma is a plus
  • Experience and working knowledge of successful brand design
  • Ability to convey strategic direction/requirements into visual designs
  • A detailed understanding of best branding practices, i.e. color accessibility, logo scalability, accessible typography, etc.
