Method+Mastery has an immediate opening for a talented, energetic, self-starting Social Intelligence Analyst to join our team and help our Fortune 50 clients maximize their marketing and communications efforts through research and media monitoring / reporting on a variety of global social and earned media campaigns. Our team is responsible for analyzing and synthesizing data to provide actionable insights and tactical recommendations to our clients. Positions are available in Texas, California, Maryland, Virginia, Illinois, Missouri and Washington, D.C. This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid set-up with work from home and work from office flexibility.

  • Play an active role in supporting the Intelligence and Analytics team to help produce analyses of data from social and other media sources across multiple programs and channels.
  • Work closely under senior analysts’ guidance to recommend social and digital strategies and ensure implementation.
  • Collect and synthesize social and digital data.
  • See the big picture: Connect the dots by digging deep to uncover trends and insights from data.
  • Conduct and support analysis through the use of social listening tools, audience intelligence tools and owned analytics tools.
  • Assist in developing client KPIs and scorecards
  • Ability to look at a cultural moment and find social applications to it - provide strategy and recommendations
  • Support the team with providing monthly and yearly updates to internal teams and clients.
  • Research and synthesize trends and developments across industries, platforms and audiences.
  • Liaise closely with client service teams to provide tangible client recommendations.
  • Work as a collaborative, decisive partner and liaison across all parties including clients, vendors, creative staff, and operations.
  • Stay current with the latest social measurement trends, as well as relevant industry trends.


  • Must-haves:
    • 1-3+ years of experience gained in social media, planning, communications and/or analytics with experience writing up recaps, summaries, or trend reports
    • Analytically-minded: Must be willing to learn how to/support analyze and interpret social-driven data with a basic understanding of percentages and math
    • Strong analytical skills; must be comfortable analyzing and interpreting social-related data from standard software packages and client databases (e.g., Brandwatch, Netbase Quid, Talkwalker, Sprinklr, etc.)
    • Comfortable finding the meaning in data, turning data into stories, and presenting data.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills to effectively communicate campaign performance to internal and external campaign stakeholders.
    • Passionate about news, culture, and social media trends
    • Excellent organization, communications and critical-thinking skills
    • Ability to quickly pattern spot and surface actionable insights; separate signal from noise.
    • Ability to work well with others or independently
    • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience distilling complex and high volumes of data into simple KPIs and data visualizations / dashboards / scorecards.
    • Ability to support the team in writing clear and concise presentations for clients summarizing data insights, outcomes and implications in a straightforward and enlightening way for clients.
    • Understand client’s business requirements, and design reporting and analysis approaches tailored to them.


  • Nice to haves:
    • Experience with real-time listening for real-time engagement.
    • Experience with Google suite of tools is a plus (Google Sheets, Google Data Studio, Google Cloud Platform).
    • Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools
    • Experience executing social media listening programs and delivering reports that inform internal and client teams
    • Experience utilizing research or social media monitoring tools such as: Brandwatch, TalkWalker, Crimson Hexagon, Sprinklr, Tagger, YouGov
