Methods+Mastery, a social intelligence and creative specialty agency in the Omnicom network, has an immediate opening for a talented project manager with an emphasis on social and digital analytics. We need a project manager to be not just a taskmaster or a notetaker, but an integral part of the team. We're seeking someone who's passionate about team dynamics and organization, particularly a candidate with a general understanding of social media strategy and analytics needs. Someone who has an innate curiosity about understanding the components of a project, expert listening and people skills, and the desire to be the glue for an incredible portfolio account team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter who feels at home in all phases of project management including project planning and management, budget tracking, and oversight/documentation of all aspects of a portfolio account. We’re not just looking at technical expertise; we want someone who has a “make it work” ethic, is a proactive team player and leader, and approaches every project with discipline and organization. Positions are available in Texas, California, Maryland, Virginia, Illinois, Missouri, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid set-up with work from home and work from office flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Account, Strategy, Intelligence and Creative leads, manage and coordinate all facets and logistics of project timelines and tracking against milestones including mapping out client priorities, organizing assets, documentation, and key deliverables and timelines for the team
  • Use project management software to manage timelines, tasks and deliverables, communicating and collaborating with team members on status throughout the week 
  • Operating as a people champion to track and manage team assignments and allocations with those best skilled to do the work in order to maximize our resources
  • Run internal standups for a portfolio of account teams
  • Support Account, Creative and Analytics leads in reviewing all work prior to client review to ensure all requirements have been met 
  • Be a team player with a good attitude and source of motivation for collaboration
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects on aggressive timelines
  • Keep senior account leadership informed of day-to-day activity, of any conflicts, delays, or challenges to troubleshoot

Qualifications

Must-Haves

 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with with particular experience managing multiple projects across teams at once
  • Strong understanding of project management workflows and ability to direct and manage projects from kickoff to delivery
  • Previous experience working with cross-functional teams which include different specialist skillsets and unique workflow requirements, and demonstrated success in building collaboration across these teams
  • Attention to detail with strong project management and prioritization skills; ability to manage ad hoc reporting requests in tandem with ongoing projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to be flexible and highly adaptive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Assertive and proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of digital and/or social analytics
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Solid history of leading marketing or analytics projects, timelines, and deadlines, ideally for a medium-sized group where you have to work closely with the team to develop an approach or methodology and follow through with it to completion

Nice-to-haves

  • Agency experience
  • Working knowledge of project management software such as Asana or similar. 
  • Knowledge of social media monitoring and measuring tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Tubular, Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Twitter Analytics)
  • PMP or other certifications
