Overview

Methods+Mastery has an immediate opening for a talented, experienced Vice President to serve as a primary lead of our corporate reputation business supporting one of our Fortune 50 clients and our rapidly-growing integrated marketing and communications offerings. The Corporate/Reputation lead will support one of the agency’s largest and fastest growing accounts. It requires dynamic business leadership, a mastery of reputation and innovation and a firm command of being able to see across workstreams to create compelling narratives. An understanding of the broader wellness space, specifically digital health, is a plus. Positions are available in Texas, California, Maryland, Virginia, Illinois, Missouri, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid set-up with work from home and work from office flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Be a thought leader for the client around broader executive platforms - including co-founders and other key stakeholders
  • Hold key media relationships across business press
  • Provide innovation strategy around the clients research capabilities
  • Lead a team, building a culture that inspires both the team and client executives and attracts great talent within and outside of the firm
  • Be a storyteller around the clients work in healthcare
  • Be the go-to person for any corporate reputation and issues work for the client
  • Have a lead role in developing communication and thought leadership strategies for the client
  • Partner with the wider team for media execution for the client

Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • 8-10+ years of experience in PR for consumer and/or tech brands brands
  • 3-5 years of experience of management experience 
  • Must be able to command a room and motivate a team
  • Always thinking with a strategic mindset when it comes to the client and strategy
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information clearly
  • Collaborative attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive and excel in a challenging fast-paced environment
  • Strong writing skills and ability to communicate effectively 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and managing priorities correctly
  • Ability to work cross functionally across different teams throughout the agency
